Made in the 1980s, this fabulous ring was crafted to resemble the undulated tutu of a ballerina, a design first made popular in the 1950s. Burroughs features a magnificent 1.87ct sapphire accompanied by a GIA Sapphire Origin Report stating the Cushion Brilliant Cut sapphire is of Burmese (modern Myanmar) origin and has no indications of heat treatment. The ideal blue center stone is surrounded by a halo of 32 Tapered Baguette Cut diamonds totaling approximately 2.30ctw and graded F color and VS clarity. This elegant, vintage ballerina ring is finished with a simple 14k white gold triple split shank and is a remarkably comfortable all-day wear considering its moderately high profile.
